Before the ODIs against Pakistan, Afghanistan gains significantly.


Rashid Khan, a mysterious spinner, will be available for Afghanistan before of their three-match ODI series against Pakistan.

In an exhibition match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in advance of the Asia Cup, Khan, who withdrew from The Hundred due to back pain, will play against Pakistan.

Asad Ullah Khan, the chief selection for Afghanistan, stated that Rashid Khan skipped The Hundred in order to rest up before Pakistan's series.

"Rashid will join us as we start our training in Sri Lanka on August 10 in Hambantota.



"We are hoping the team does well against Pakistan as it will be a great morale booster for the Asia Cup," the coach said.

Three One Day Internationals between Afghanistan and Pakistan will take place in Sri Lanka from August 22 to 26.

Before traveling to Colombo for the final ODI on June 26, the two teams will play their first two games at Hambantota on February 22 and February 24.

The Afghans will have the chance to adjust their lineups in these three games before the 50-over ACC Men's Asia Cup.

The Green Shirts have won all four One Day Internationals between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 was the last time the two teams engaged in this format.
