Rajkumar Rao aspires to portray the "Bhagat Singh" biography in a very "different way."

A biopic about Bhagat Singh has been confirmed by Rajkumar Rao.


Rajkumar Rao has stated his ambition to represent Indian Nationalist leader Bhagat Singh in a biopic in a very distinctive manner.

There have been rumors that Rao has been cast as Bhagat in a biopic in the past. It appears that he recently made a public declaration confirming the ambitious endeavor.


The actor was questioned by Pinkvilla during a promotional interview for his most recent movie, Guns and Gulaabs, about whether or not the rumors that he would be playing Bhagat Singh on screen were genuine.

"Of course, I'm very passionate about Bhagat Singh and his journey, and to present him on screen in a very different way than what you have seen so far, and it was great too," the Ludo actor said. However, if I ever play Bhagat Singh, it will be with a totally different interpretation of his life and my portrayal of him as an actor.


Pinkvilla has stated that the film is still in its early stages and that the scripting process will take another six to eight months. The writing itself will take another six to eight months, and everything is still in its very early phases.

Rajkumar Rao is currently hard at work filming Stree 2, his upcoming production with Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurrana. Additionally, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, starring Janhvi Kapoor, is in the works. The incredibly gifted actor Rajkummar Rao has carved out a place for himself in the movie business thanks to several standout performances and flicks. The recipient of a National Award is currently promoting his eagerly anticipated Guns and Gulaabs comedy series on Netflix.
