Despite strict security, Ashura processions in Pakistan come to a calm conclusion.
Yaum-e-Ashur, the tenth day of Muharram-ul-Haram, saw the peaceful conclusion of the nation's mourning processions to honor Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions for their supreme sacrifice in Karbala. Tight security was in place, and some areas had their mobile phone service suspended to prevent any untoward situations.
This day serves as a somber reminder of the beloved Prophet (PBUH)'s grandson, Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), as well as his family and loyal followers, who bravely defended Islam in the face of hostility and persecution.

Security.
Following instructions from the interior ministry to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) asking for the suspension of mobile services not only on Muharram 9 and 10, but also 11, mobile signals remained cut off in various cities at the same time.
In Karachi, Majalis were held all across the city while Tazia and Zuljinnah processions and other memorial rites were carried out.
The major procession culminated at Imambargah Hussainian Iranian Kharadar after traveling through its customary circuits on MA Jinnah Road.
